Séjour génial avec une fin super! Dépaysement assuré! Gite impeccable (confort et sécurité au rendez-vous!)! La Vendée, région que je ne connaissais pas! Je compte bien revenir tellement ca m'a plu. Je le conseillerais à des personnes à mobilité réduite car c'est vraiment très bien étudié! Le Puy du Fou à ne pas manquer! Extraordinaire! . Mission accomplie pour ce séjour fort agréable, dans un gîte charmant aux nuits d'un calme ressoucant... La Vendée que je ne connaissais pas m'a enchantée.. Le Bois was a fantastic gite very high standard a home from home. The Vendee was wonderful. We enjoyed the beaches and the lake. The children 6 and 3 had a wonderful time foraging for grashopper and stick insects and found a praying mantis by the blackberry bush. Silvine and Wulfran were very relaxed and always on hand to advise and help. Thank you The Vian family (ENG) aout 2009 **** This was our first time in the Vendée and we were very impressed, both by the cosy gite here and the range of things to do nearby. It was nice to be near lots of beaches but be able to come back to a quiet cottage in the country at the end of the day. The pool was particularly appreciated by Alex. It was lovely to sit outside for dinner in the evenings and enjoy the peace and quiet (apart from the verynoisy crickets). The gite is lovely and spacious and just the kind of well-equipped holiday cottage you need. Thank you very much Wulfran, Silvine and Maude formaking our first trip to the Vendee suchan enjoyable one. Aileen, Andy and Alex (ENG) aout 2009 **** Un séjour très agréable dans un complexe très bien concu. Nous regrettons de n'avoir pas pu profiter des pistes cyclables. On fera plus prochainement. Nous avons profité d'une méteo clemante et facile à prevoir ( 1 jour chaud, un autre moins, un troisieme gris) Pas besoin de Mr Meteo.. A l'unanimité, tous les résidents ont apprecié les bienfaits et joie d'une eau toujours à la bonne temperature. Un excellent séjour et un accueil chaleureux des proprietaires. . Nous avons passé de très bons moments dans cette belle région, que nous ne connaissions pas. Bonne prestation de votre part. Gîtes agréables et confortables. Bon courage pour la suite. . Très bon séjour en Vendée! Legîte est bien concu, la piscine était à la bonne température.. bref, on en a bien profité! Dommage qu'une petite fête improvisée (dans la piscine) ne soit pas envisageable à 23h. Wir haben unsere Ferien hier sehr genossen. Unsere beiden Kinder werden vor allem den Pool, den sie ausgiebig genutzt haben, vermissen. Wir haben hier eine tolle Mischung aus einem Urlaub auf dem Land und einem Urlaub an der See verbracht. Familie Dahl Ich fand es sehr schön hier vor allem den Pool weil man zu Hause nicht so direkt die Möglichkeit hat, mal eben in den Pool zu hüpfen. Ich finde es fast schon schade wieder nach Hause zu fahren, gerade nachdem ich mich hier heimisch gefühlt habe... Naja.. Aufwiedersehen? Anna (D) juillet 2009
**** Evidemment ce fut en beau séjour,dans un gîte reposant,et une région accueillante, et forcement ce fut trop court... Et que de fantastiques possibilités de "revivre" en temps de paix les vacances des époques passées: depuis l'arène gallo-romaine et les temps médiévaux au Puy du Fou jusqu'au chateau de la Chabotterie évoquant si bien l'épopée vendéenne, et jusqu'aux retses de tant d'épaves exposés à Nantes! . Un peu de déception pour le départ vers la Belgique on aurait aimé rester plus longtemps! mais les ardenais reviendront merci beaucoup. Le gîte et ses proprietaires sont super! La pisicne est hyper mega cool! . Un gîte spacieux,un cadre campagnard loin des agitations du bruit de la ville, une situation géographique pratique! Que demander de plus? Merci aux proprietaires pour leurs conseils, grâce à eux, le séjour a été des plus agréable. Au plaisir de revenir. La famille Mathey (B) juillet 2009

A bientot Famille Rospape, juillet 2009 **** We very much enjoyed our stay in St Reverend @ Gorand des Bois. The gite is well equiped and makes an ideal base to explore the surrounding region from. The Pool is also a welcome relief to return back to, especially after spending time on the beautiful hot sandy beaches near by. A fabulous 2 weeks, with great weather - we will be sad to return home! **** Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette si belle région. De plus, nous avons bénéficié d'un temps superbe durant ces deux semaines. L'accueil a été très chaleureux avec des hôtes très prévenants. Quant au gîte il est parfait. L'équipement est vraiment complet. La décoration est soignée. Rien ne manque!! Pour ce qui est de l'accessibilité pour le personnes à mobilité réduite, tout à été vraiment bien concu, dans les moindres détails et ce gîte mérite grandement le label tourisme et handicap. Nous espérons revenir très vite en Vendée pour continuer à explorer les richesses de cette région. Nous vous souhaitons bon courage pour la continuité et nous vous remercions vivement des efforts déployés pour rendre ces gîtes accessibles aux plus nombreux. **** La douceur vendéenne: climat, accueil et météo. Sans parler du confort exceptionnel du gîte, tout est réuni pour passer des vacances de rêve. Si vous voulez faire une agréable promenade dans un jardin, n'hésitez pas à faire la visite du Jardin des Olfacties à Coex. **** We hade a lovely holiday in the Gîte it is very comfortable and well appointed with a fantastic pool. Wulfran and Silvine are very friendly and welcoming. We visited Passage du Gois and would highly recommend it. There is a lovely bakery at St Reverend and the old windmill is lovely. Tasty beef and beef sausages from Gaec Richard. They dont speak English baut are very friendly and very proud of their cattle and will show you photos of their prize winning bulls while you enjoy a drink with them. Port de Vie harbour is lovely for a walk to look at all the beautiful noats especially in the evening. There are nice restaurants there also.Weliked Le Plaza for Pizza + Steak and teh waitress speaks English. Good supermarkets in the area but dont seem to open on Sunday. **** We hade a lovely stay in this gîte. Wulfran and Silvine are very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay in Nantes (very nice city with good restaurants) Ile de Noirmoutier and the Marais poitevin (with private tour on a boat). The Chateau of Goulaine (near Nantes) and Chateau d'Apremont (near Coex) are very beautiful. In St Gilles Croix de Vie are very good hypermarkets with good products. **** Très bon séjour en Vendée que ce soit pour l'accueil très chaleureux (conseils sur les visites, gîte agréable) des hôtes et des habitants (ferme, boulangerie ...) Nous avons apprécié la tranquilité de vie à la campagne.Avons découvert des lieux que nous ne connaissions pas, le temps ensoleillé et chaud était là toute la semaine. Nous avons pris l'habitude de découvrir une à deux fois par an un coin de France et de changer à chaque fois mais pour l'accueil +++ nous reviendrons à St Révérend. Gîte très agréable, spacieux et confortable même en cette période de l'année ... bonnes idées pour la déco ... court séjour mais le déplacement en vallait la peine ... départ du Vendée Globe. Wulfran and Silvine have created a superb base for exploring the region and the pool proved indispensable after a hot day at the beach. The gite is really comfortable and Wulfran and Silvine could not have been more welcoming and helpful. There is so much to do here... the previous guests have mentioned a number of highlights. We particularily liked the cycle routes both local to the gite and along the coast. In addition visit the L’Ile de Noirmoutier, crossing the Passage du Gois at low tide. Stopp off half way across and watch the locals collect mussels, cockles etc from the sand before the uncoming tide causes an evacuation of the area! **** The barn has been a great place to stay in the Vendée. Wulfran and Silvine have thought of everything in the gîte. It has been a very comfortable place to live for the past two weeks.We would like to make the following recommendations to other guests:Markets: Jard-sur-Mer (mon) Croix –de-Vie (sat)Beaches : Plage des Dunes – North of Brem–sur-Mer, Sion-sur-l’Ocean- North of St-Gilles/Croix-de-Vie, Sauveterre- South of Brem-sur-Mer in the foret d’Olonne.All have a mix of surfing/ bathing and rock poolingAttractions we enjoyed: Passage du Gois (causeway to the Ile de Noirmoutier), Jardin du Vent (go on a windy day for the best experience), Sallertaine (village with many craft workshops/ shops)Windmills: at St Reverend (also bakery and restaurant) and Rairé (only windmill working on wind and not electricity)La Chaume/ Les Sables (lighthouse, fort church and wall decorated withshells)Apremont (lake with bathing and boats for hire)Wine: Maison Monrat 3km North of Mareuil-sur-Lay on D746 S of Roche –sur-YonChristine,Gordon, James and Edward (UK) July 2008. **** As their first guests we congratulate Silvine and Wulfran for their hard work providing a top quality gite for our holiday in France. Our stay has been enhanced by their friendly welcome. We have enjoyed seeing a variety of Wildlife from the patio including little Egret feeding with the cows a hunting Kestral Two here in the adjacent field and have heard but not seen Golden Oviels. The gite is ideally situated for walks and cycling and visits to interesting venves at both coast and country.
